Tractor
Kioti DK35se Hydrostat
Now I have went and done it, on the way home today I took a little detour, and paid a visit to a Kioti dealer. Well I just HAD to look at a DK40SE hydrostat model. Big mistake. About the only thing I did not like about that tractor was the fact it did not follow me home. That is one nice tractor. Oh there were a couple of minor things, it might take a day or two to educate my feet to get used to the twin pedal system instead of the single pedal, and the FEL control sorta crowded my right leg when in full curl mode.. do you owners notice any problem with that or am just imagining that? Nothing a little bending of the stick would not fix. It seemed a very comfortable well equipped tractor. Oh well I will just go out and tell my Kubota I still love it, and stop looking at other "dames" but it sure was nice to look and think about all that extra FEL lift.

There is certainly nothing wrong with looking at Tractors. When I am in the area, I sometimes drop by my Kubota dealership and browse around; especially in regards to the attachments. My main restraint in purchasing any, is my lack of monetary funds. I am also guilty of looking at various catalogs and day dreaming. I call them my "Wish Books". :D

Just like pretty girls, you can always look. Well, maybe not if with your wife. We ate at TGIFridays tonight and I was seated where I could take a nice gander at the hostess. But I went home with the one I came with.

Hey James, go ahead and buy the new Kioti. I could use a backup tractor for when I break mine like I did yesterday. Drop yours off at my house and I will babysit it for you. When you need it....I might.... let you borrow it. :)

What happened to your L4300?.. hey if you want to buy my L3400HST, come on over and I will cut you a deal.. I am really interested in that DK40se, but I don't think I can afford it.. that 2700 lbs of FEL lift keeps calling to me...

Holy crap, 2700 lbs of lift. Holy crap!

I broke the pto shaft, bearing, housing, seal. :( :( :( :( My fault, not the tractor's. Got lucky, the mechanic took it apart and said it could have easily taken out my pto clutch pack, rack & pinion, gearing, all kinds of stuff.

I spent a lot of time yesterday on the Kubota website thinking that if I really, really broke my tractor, then that was the excuse I needed to buy a shiny new one! But now that I know it isn't too bad I just can't wait to get my favorite toy back. The grass is getting long!

I thought Kiotis were supposed to be cheap! That DK40se is a nice tractor. I like the control that lets you raise and lower the 3pt from the rear of the tractor for hooking up implements. For us guys with the bare-bones L series tractors, that thing is a Cadillac! I really wish I had a tilt wheel sometimes, way more than I wish I had HST.

Buy it! I can't buy your tractor, but I can make sure it doesn't go unused :D

They are ALL expensive.
Its just that often times Kioti can be a little less expensive than some of its competitors.

I am waiting on the call back from the dealer now, to find out just how expensive.. Sure he gave me a price, but the bottom line with the trade of my tractor is the important number.. unless I could sell my bota..outright.
