Great looking family Garry.
My Grandaughter has been home a month or so. We haven't seen her that much, they try to limit exposure due to RSV possibilities with preemies. But she has gained weight as expected and is by now probably over 6 lbs.

Thanks Jerry! I wouldn't have been able to stand it not seeing her while we were so close! By the time we left, she weighed in at 9.5 lbs. According to the baby manual my daughter-in-law was using, that was right on for being 4 weeks old. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

One of the best things that happened was that my wife got Teagan to take a bottle. She's being breast fed, but they needed to start getting her used to taking a bottle. Well, the daughter-in-law couldn't get her to take one. The other grandma, who was also there couldn't get her to take one. And my son couldn't get her to take one. My wife walks in, and within 1 hour, has Teagan sucking on a bottle like she'd been doing from day one! Don't think that didn't make her (grandma, not baby!) feel good! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Thanks Moss! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I thought I'd gotten a picture with my other navy blue TBN shirt too, but I guess not. Just the old regular Navy shirt.

Being in the Navy now is a lot different than when I was in. Here's a picture of the front of the duplex the kids have. It's only about 1 year old, and it makes our first place seem like an outhouse!

Here's a shot of some of the projects we did while we were there. We put together all of the furniture for Teagan's room. It was actually really fun. Both grandma's and I worked together. Debbie, the "other" grandma, had never done anything like that before. Sooooo, I made sure she got lots of practice. Hey, SOMEONE had to supervise, right?

we did sneak a little recreation while we were out there. We went over to Lake Tahoe on Friday. I was the only one who had ever been there, so everybody really enjoyed this little trip.

Debbie didn't think anyone would believe that she actually got to California, so I took a picture of everyone at Tahoe.

The downtown of Fallon, Nevada has a very small town feeling to it. Except for the dust everywhere, we kind of liked it. It had a nice little waterfall righ in the middle of Maine (that's how they spell it! Honest!!) street.

After we left, we decided to drive through the Rocky Mountains, as my wife had never seen them. We drove highway 50 through Nevada and Utah. For those that have never driven highway 50, it's called the Loneliest Road in America. After driving it, I won't disagree with that statement! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Man, what a B O R I N G part of the trip. But once we got into Utah, we saw some really awesome landscape.

We had a deadline to get back here on Saturday, so we couldn't waste any time. We planned on bypassing Denver, as we would have been getting there around rush hour time.
