Nothings working

I have a 1973 Ditch Witch trencher while digging lost all hydraulics.. I pulled the pump off front all teeth seem to be intact working properly. Any help of what to look at next would really be great.... Thanx in advance.. If pump is bad is there any way to check it cause it is very pricey to replace...

Might even be an electric problem....get some documentation like electric and hydraulic drawings....scan and post....

Test guages do help if hooked up properly......Flow meter w/load valve is the best way for overall testing.......

I have the Case 360 trencher, and the pumps are belt driven. Can you determine if the pump shaft is turning? Put a gage in the system and see if you have any pressure anywhere. Check fluid level.
