I signed on to get advice on buying a tractor. I'm looking for a cutting/haying tractor with front end loader & brush hog for my little place (28 acres). Thinking about something in the 40-60 hp range. That might be a bit big but, I reckon you can always make do with less than you've got but, you can't do much with less than you need. "Know whut ah mean?"

I think it's funny how, in East Texas, 28 acres is referred to as "my little place" whereas in Southwest Ohio 28 acres is a pretty fair sized piece of property (surrounded by 1/3 acre lots!!).
