Hi Guys
I bought a gorgeous 13 acres of land with 8 acres of pinot noir and am working a steep learning curve. One of the things I need to come to terms with in a hurry is tractors. Everyone seems to have his own opinion about what I need, and what brand. Guess that's normal. Look forward to listening in on the talk here . . . and hopefully getting occasional advice.

Welcome Sandgrubber. If you have pinot noir vineyards, you are obviously growing them for wine. ( I don't think they are table grapes or raisin grapes.) Can you tell us where you are located? Do you have any equipment at all or will you be starting from scratch. From my recent trip thru the Napa Valley of CA, I can tell you that this growing season is well underway. Not having equipment at this point would be a daunting task.
