I ordered a set today for the rear.
I didn't want to "hog" up a long, black top drive;that's why the rubber.
So far I've not had any trouble with the R4's and the weight of a hoe but who knows ?
We've had a couple 6-10 inch snows so far.
Hopefully I'll know soon if I wasted my $$$.

there was a thread on that type of chain awhile back(sorry i can't find it) from what i recall some where happy with them.

They are somewhat "handmade" at a small shop in Lancaster, Pa.
If you are familiar with "mine" belt , that's what they're made from.
The cost is about 125.00 for 10x16.5.
FYI- Mine belt is a super tough rubber about 3/4" thick. It appears they cut it in strips about 1" wide.
Sorry, right now I can't remember the name.
Hopefully I'll have more info. early next week.
