noise from 2045 bush hog loader

have a agco st34a with a bush hog 2045 loader . when 1st starting up tractor and raising loader , jerks , for 3 - 4 seconds , after that is fine . when tractor runs will hear a growl in hydralics once in awhile , not all the time .

Jerking and noise would point towards air getting sucked into the pump. This can be from a partially plugged inlet screen or filter, low oil level, pin hole or leak in the inlet line, thick oil from cold temperatures, etc.
