No start

I'm working on a 300 utility the wire shorted out between the ign and starter silanoid I repaired wire but tractor won't start its getting fuel and a weak spark any ideas thanks

Solenoid might be bad. If the wire shorted and kept the solenoid engaged it could have damaged it. On the same token, the solenoid might have stuck and drew current long enough to heat the ignition wire enough to fail.

Usually aren't too expensive.

I had the starter rebuilt and New silanoid
