No second gear

Was using my yt359c today and second gear stopped working , first and third still work fine anyone have any ideas

Since your YT359C is a newer model, this definitely comes under the Yanmar powertrain 10yr warranty!

I would begin with the range position switch. To check it turn the key off, hold the display button and turn the key back on. A screen will appear that says "Checker", release the display button. Press and hold the display button again. The next screen will appear saying "Switch, Meter, T/M", press and release the display button to toggle over to "T/M". Once there, you should be able to test the range position sensors. If the voltage doesn't change between shifts, you may need a new switch. Most likely a warranty issue.
