kubota b7500
Hello.I am wondering if anyone has had this problem ? My kubota b7500 with the la272 loader .The loader seems to push down and lower when moving. But when i am stopped it starts to stop lowering or pushing down.any ideals?

Rotate your bucket as shown in my photo and see if you can raise the front wheels off the ground as I can. If so, I think you are OK. If not, there is a problem.

Your valve spool is not centering.

If it is cable operated, check the cable and then lube.

Remove the lever from the spool and see if the spool will move in and out an equal distance.

Remove the cans on the bottom of the spool and check the insides for crud, rust, loose parts.

Be careful removing the cans as there are little balls and springs under the cover.

The centering springs are supposed to center the spool so there is no fluid flow to the cyl.

Your cyl seals maybe bad, but that would not push down on the lift arms.

Put a hyd gage in the hyd system and use it to troubleshoot .

If he goes into regen he might not be able to raise the front wheel even if the hyd system is good.

If the cyl are operating or moving with no action from the operator, it has to be the spool centering springs or cables hanging up.

I tried curling the bucket still no left it did it 1 time when I first got it like the day before.it seems to only down pressure on the arms when I'm on the move on the tractor.when I'm stopped using the tractor in a standstill that's when it seems to not push down.

Re-check all the QD's on the loader if you have them.

Do you actually have hyd flow?

Plug a gage into one of your loader QD and see if you have any pressure.

We have a John Deere 950 and the lift won't work, we have oil, and suggestions?

Ok .thanks .ill check into getting a gauge .just wierd that it works when in motion and not when stopped

Are you running your tractor at the same RPM when stopped ?

Does the B7500 have one pump or two?

Do pull the cover plate off the front of the joystick controls. Check for excessive wear or slop in the controls.

On my Kubota B7100, different loader but same style joy stick, I wore out two of the joystick inards.

I understand now, that some tractors at idle do not have sufficient fluid for attachment operation.

If you have a flow divider for steering, you might not have enough fluid at idle for lift.

At 2000 rpm sitting still, are you saying that you have no lift?

I can fill in a couple of the blanks.. I used to own a B7500. There are NO cables. the joystick connects directly to the valve. The machine will easily move the arms and bucket at idle, of course not at the same speed they would move at high RPM's, but they will move at a useful rate. You should easily raise the front end of your tractor off of the ground by placing the bucket vertical and then lower the main lift arms. If you cannot do all of the above, then you have an issue. Check hydraulic fluid level, and when was the last time the hydraulic filter was changed? Also a leak in the suction line going to the pump can allow air to ingress into the pump and would perhaps cause these issues.

Thanks for the help .this site is great. I did some more checking n itseems start when I am stopped with the brakes engaged that's when the loader loses its down force .when I let off the brakes and am still parked it works maybe a safety thing brakes get priority ?

Yogi, explain what you mean by "loader looses it's downforce" If you are trying to lift the front end of the tractor off of the ground and you have the brakes engaged it is possible that the tractor will not rotate around the rear axle as the brakes would prevent that. But otherwise the brakes are purely mechanical and have no hydraulic component, and would not affect the operation of the lift hydraulics at all.

We don't seem to be communicating here.

What kind of pressure do you have at relief pressure.

Do your lift arms descend on their own?

Your full pressure hyd is at the far right. You are in regen in the first part of the valve.
