If pump shaft and/or coupler looked good you might of checked the filter and screen before ordering a new pump. His manual should tell you the oil to use, I use Mobil and Kubota.

Just an update after putting in a new pump and changing fluid seems to be working good. Thanks everyone for all the help, I found out on another forum most people used aw32 hydraulic oil. I never did find out what oil to use in his book.
