have a 1967 ford 5000 selecto/speed,wont start seems the shifter wont stay in park. can i or is there a way to bypass starter safety switch?

sure you can bypass the starter safety.. but you need to make sure that she's not mobile and in gear first!

remember. no magic here.. just interuptor switches in the line that energizes the starter solenoid.

i reccomend throwing the traction disconnect before you go playing with starter safety interlink bypassing.
