That is a great storey about the pilots and the boat !!!
Much like trying to pick up crab pots. They always get los under the nose when you get too close.
Yes I am familiar with clearing turns. Hard to see past that big donk sometimes !!!
When I used to row at high school, our coach one day was concentrating so hard on yelling at us for not concentrating, that he drove his little tinny (aluminium boat) smack into a moored sailing boat. Then yelled at us for not telling him it was coming !!!
Funny how when you row a boat you have to look at where you have been, not where you are going !!
