I don't seem to have any brakes on my 08 ct235. No resistance in the pedal either. Linkage looks good. Any ideas? something stupid I hope?

More than likely just need to adjust the linkage on each side. Instructions are in the Operator manual.

I have a 09 CT 235 and found that after around 300 hours the brakes no longer would hold when the brake was set. Follow the adjustment instructions and use small increments doing both side the same. Be sure to constantly check to see if you can set the brake because an over adjustment will not allow you to set the brake unless you have the power of an Olympic weightlifter.
