No 4wd LB1914

Help I heard some popping sounds from under my tractor and now I have no 4wd.
What is the easiest thing to look for first. I have the manuals and am reading them now.
Has anybody else lost the 4wd on a LB1914?.
Any help would be appreciated.

Jim, Not able to help. Just hope to follow this thread as purchased my LB1914 in spring 2002 and have not had anything fail so far. Guess I would start at the linkage from the control and see where that leads.

If it is anything like my LK3054 there is a pin in the drive shaft to the front end. You may have to check and see if the pin broke. see if the shaft is turning.

I put the front end up into the air and turned the wheels and everything sounded good and turned the right way with no noise. I am hoping that it is just the pin that broke. will let you know.

Make absolutely sure the lever is all the way in 4wd.
Maybe even edge forward and push at the same time.
The 1914 if well cared is a very tough little machine.
