I have a Massey Ferguson 471 with a 1060 loader. I need advice on the spool valve. I thought my cable was bound but after replacing I found the spool valve is binding on one side. I do not want to disassemble it before i know a little more. Any advice would be appreciated

Loosen the hold bolts on the valve, sometimes, when you torque the bolts down to much, it causes the valve to twist a little. Just loosen the hold down bolts a little and see if it make any difference. Just might have some crud in the spool also. You could take out the spool, inspect and clean it. Notice how you take out the spool, and flip it 180 degree's when reinstalling.
