7 pound 15 oz, 19.5 inches. Both mother and baby are doing great, praise the Lord!

I suspect that due to starting my family later in life that might be a challenge for me, but I think it would be AWESOME!

I have often fantasized about when I do go, passing everything on to one of the Great Grand kids...

Thanks, times have changed, at 21 my wife and I were among the last of our graduating class to marry; most married right after graduation. One of my brothers married at 17 and one at 18.

My wife and I had been together for six year before marriage and knew each other very well, but in general, I think it is best to wait a while.

We have the same fantasy, but you never know about kids. We have five grand daughters and two grandsons with only the youngest grandson having any interest in the farms and our great grandson lives in Florida; who knows.

Thanks, we think he is, but we may be a bit biased.

My son in law never knew his biological father either, by the time he found out who he was, he had passed away. There were times I wish I had never met mine, but that is a different story.

Yeah, I am sure it will work out one way or the other, we just had hopes of leaving it to someone who loves it as much as we have. My father in law, my wife and I began planning on what we wanted to do with a couple of the farms soon after he bought them in the mid 80's just before he retired. We had ponds built, took some land out of cultivation and put it in hardwoods and pines, with my sons helping plant the trees, planted warm season grasses, food plots, built roads, planted wildflowers and so on. I won't finish it in my lifetime as there always seems to be something else I would like to do beyond just maintenance which is a lot.

That they truly are; it's amazing how the little tings they do can brighten an otherwise dreary day no matter how you may feel.

What a beauty!! I love my son more than words can describe, but my daughter... there is this unique and special bond that we have shared since her birth. You will see what I am talking about! She might have had her daddy wrapped around her finger, oh..for the last 23 years or so!! I bet yours will too!
