I did something that I have been avoiding and took the mower off of my 425 AWS to clean and sharpen. I dreaded trying to get the PTO connected again as it is a bear to get at with the rear steering all around it. I found that if you pull the ring on the mower PTO shaft back and turn it, it stayed "open" until you pushed it into place at which time it snaped into the locked position.
I thought that was a nice feature for all PTO connections so that you are not pushing and pulling at the same time.
