The parts book shows a pin going thru the plunger and thru a arm that connected to the gear box arm. Is this pin to be removed to remove the plunger? If so, do you drive it out thru a hole in the hay camber? I'm just not familiar with the removal steps and the owner manual doesn't address plunger removal. What do I do to get the plunger out? Thanks. bjr

Take the plunger and connecting rod out the back together. Two bolts connect the crank arm bearing housing to the connecting rod. Block the hay dogs out of the chamber, remove any wedges present, and remove the thrower, if equipped.

I'll add to what Rick stated that I always loosen the 2 springs on the rear of baler that control the hay tension and block hay tensioner up out of the way of PH
