What do the new folk do to get to be Registered versus Not Registered?

In the upper right hand side of the screen it says register here. Just click on that and follow the simple instructions.

Registered Users Get:

+ Notification of replies to posts by e-mail (option)
+ Member Profile w/option to display e-mail address, also other information (click on any username to see a profile)
+ All forums are marked with the # of new posts since your last visit on the main index, making it easier/quicker to view new threads.
+ Display preferences allow you to set your default font size, font face, # of messages per page/threads per page, default sort order on forum index pages, flat or threaded mode, post header format (top or side), post preview screen, text area width and height when posting, and other options.
+ Optional signature to include with your posts.
+ Option to be visible in the 'who's online' screen.
+ Private message center which is basically an in-forum e-mail system, so you can send private messages to other users without giving out your e-mail address.

Plus, many other options, and more will be coming in the future.
