Just for some consideration. Maybe consider a roll over box blade. This way you don't have to stop and get off the tractor every time you may need the rippers. At 800lb or 850lbs, this will definitely get some work done for you and considerably less $$$ than a unit that has hydraulic actuated rippers. ;)

Hehe. I read one of your threads about the Gannon rollover blade. Can I still push and pull dirt with a Gannon versus a traditional box blade?

You tell me. I brushed a couple of acres and filled a few gullies that day. Most all of it done in reverse. People advise against this, but I think as long as your hitch is stout enough, no problems. Mine sure does work well in this fashion.
