Newbie to tractors shibaura tractor s 2000

Does it have a spin on hydraulic filter?
I don't know where to tell you to look for a strainer/screen. Some have it on top of the hydraulic pump (under a cap), Here is a video of a Shibaura built Ford to give you an idea. (I think this type of screen/strainer would be on one end or the other of the hydraulic return tube.

The starter on the tractor has met its maker. As you know technically this tractor is a ghost. The engine model number is c201-5000046. I have enclosed pictures of the starter. I just came back from the local tractor repair shop and they can not find out what to replace it with. No numbers on the starter at all to cross reference it. Does anyone have any ideas. I don稚 truly know if this is the correct starter that came with it or if it was just replaced with something that worked thank you for any help.

You might check with an Automotive Electrical Shop. They rebuild starters and alternators.

These are the Shibaura 4 cylinder tractors under 60hp listed by tractor data. They seem to be 2.0, 2.1 or 2.3 litre engines.

It looks like the Ford (Shibaura engine) used the same starter for Ford New Holland Compact Tractor 1000 1500 1600 1700 1900 1910 2110
Ford 1920 and 2120 might also be candidates

That Ford 1910 Starter Fits a bunch of stuff. Maybe you can compare it to yours.

I looked at all the Shibaura starters on ebay. Most of the others had a "hood" or mounting holes not on centerline, or more than 9 gear teeth. This one looks like the right mounting surface and 9 teeth. The only thing is that the "backpack" is oriented wrong. I'm not sure there is room on your tractor for that to angle down.
