Deere 3033r
I recently bought a 3033r.

Having issues getting the transmission into the right gear. A is easy. So is C.
What's the secret to hitting B?

Thanks

If this is a hydrostatic transmission sometimes you need to press on the FWD or REV pedal slightly to take the pressure off the gears. This is because they are straight cut gears and any tension on them can make it hard to change ranges.

How about some info on your tractor and what your doing.

Power reverser or hst?

What gear do you have the unit in ? When trying to shift the ABC range

Are you moving or parked?

Idle or low or high rpms?

Are you operating any attachments at the same time as shifting?

PTO on during any of this ?

Any other information you can think of to help out

Parked, gear ..
Just trying to go from C to B
Idle
No PTO running
No attachments running when shifting.

Literally just sitting there parked trying to get it into B

As jgayman says and the operator's manual also says..
The transmission range shift lever (A) provides three speed ranges and is used in conjunction with the forward travel pedal (C) and reverse travel pedal (D).

With using travel pedal in conjunction with the range shift lever, the three ranges and neutral can be found rather easily. Not when "parked" .
It will be a "learned" feeling with operating time on the tractor. ;)

Don't force the range shift lever or you may be asking the question others have already asked.. "how to repair the broken shift lever ?".

Ahhhhh. Thank you! I'll give it a try.

Plus 1 on that. I almost always fiddiddle w the pedals to “disengage” the drive system before I can shift the range.
