Hello everybody.I'm new here and hope to become an activemember.Let me start out to say it's a pleasure to be in the presence
of other people who share my passion for garden tractors and their
restoration and maintenance.I have several machines I hope to modify
and restore in the coming months.At the present I've accumulated the
following:1970 Sears SS12 Hydro-Trac, Sears '76 ST10, '65 Sears Suburban,
(2) '66 Suburbans,'84 Simplicity 7790,'93 Power King,and (3) vintage sears
'76 self propelled mowers.Engine wise (3) new military 4 cyl,20HP engines,
a 20HP CCK onan,(2) 16HP CCK onan,(1) rebuilt 19.9HP onan,(1) 10HP
twin cyl onan,(1)VH4,4 cyl,wisconsin(about 35 HRS on it,(1) Wisconsin
S12D,about 50HRS on it,(1) Honda GX620,like new and (1) THRD Wisconsin
like new.I'm hoping there are people here who could advise me on some
the use of these engines to re-power some of these vintage machines.One
of my first attempts is the restoration of the Sears ST10.I hope to replace
the tranny with a limited slip tranny out of a 112 JD and repower with the
Honda GX620 engine.
