You guys misunderstood the picture.
They are actually winching it up from the bottom of the bridge.
Look at the guy in the first picture in the blue coat, he's operation the remote controll for the winch!

That's what I finally figured out. Double Orange had me going for a while. I was scouring all the pictures looking for whatever recovery truck the winch would even be attached to.

Hey its China, they don't care about the enviroment anyway so just give the truck a bump and let it go looking for whatever it was hauling. Sooner or later someone would fiquire out how to haul what was left out and sell it for scrap.

The thing that scares me about the photos is the bridge. No lateral support. Just tall tall columns. Nothing connecting the columns together. Not very rigid. :eek:

No trees either but they have cut the slopes. To prevent erosion? Land slides?
