New Tractor??? Maxium hours on meter????

I feel cheated.... my tractor was delivered with 1.5 hrs on it and I would have gladly allowed for an additional 15 just to get the deal that you got.....

I have recently visited a dealer and tested a "new" piece that had 50 /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif hrs on it. The tires looked like they never have left the showroom and made me wonder about the 12 hour machine with worn tires /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. I dont know why? Is there a registration/ title/ ownership company that can check the serial # to see if you realy are buying a new tractor or find out if its refurbished/ used?

Tractors have a certificate of origin but no titling requirements that I know of, maybe someone else knows differently than I do in there own states.
