Well it's been over a month of bustin hump on the days off from work, but the new shed / shop is almost complete on the outside. I have a bit more painting to do and install the garage doors. Then I get to work on the wiring and interior finishes. Here are a few updated pictures. One is of the sun setting over the mountain, pretty nice because of all the smoke haze coming from the wildfires up in the NW.

Finally finished the exterior and sealed it all up. Did the final grade and entrance gravel. Incorporated some of the existing landscape w/ some new timbers. Next up... The arduous task of organizing all the tools and building the workbenches. The upper 4' of the interior walls will have pegboard almost all the way around. I'll post pics of the inside when done.:dance1:

Tell me about the JK, where all done to it? Looks like a custom rear bumper with 3 NATO cans instead of a spare tire? What mirrors are those?

The bumper was made by "OR Fab"(off road fabrication). The swing away cage mounts to the body behind the tailgate hinges, separate from the bumper. The cans are Roto-Pax, which are available from 4wheelparts. The spare tire does mount to the cage in the center, up high, on a threaded post that sticks out using a "T" shaped spin on lock w/ a large rubber backed round plate that centers the wheel on the post. It's lockable also. The mirrors are stock mirrors mounted on extended arms I made from 1 1/2" x 3/4 steel rectangle stock. I used 3/8 round thin wall tubing for the support arms under the square stock. I mounted the arms onto stock Rugged Ridge mirror relocation brackets. I extended the mirrors out because I pull a 17' travel trailer out to the areas I want to wheel and it was hard to see around it. The mirrors and arms will come off the brackets in a couple of minutes when I get out to the trails if needed. It's dark and raining right now but I'll try to take some close up pics so you can see the simple set up of the mirrors. I go on duty tomorrow morning at 4 am, for 3 days, so I probably won't get to take them or post until Sunday. If I get a chance sooner I will.

Nicely done on the landscaping. It looks like it's been there forever.
