That looks like it is based on some design elements of the Allis Chalmers G. Here's another tractor that shares some of those elements:

Interesting, Steve!! From your link, Tuff-bilt is located in AL. From the MSN article..."a two-man company from Alabama" is who's building the new factory in Cuba. I'm thinking it's the same company.

While the Tuff-bilt is interesting and cool, it's nothing that I'd spend $10k+ on when I can buy a used "standard" tractor that will do the same thing for less money. I can't imagine I'm alone in that thinking. So, no market in the US - go find another market!! Entrepreneurism at it's best!!

It may be the same company, but I read somewhere that the Oggun was the first tractor built by the owners and that they had hired an engineering firm to design it. I am not sure how long the Tuff-bilt has been around, but I think I first learned about it at least five years ago. However, the Tuff-bilt and Oggun have some common features that differ from the original G -- the fenders, the location of the battery, and the location and shape of the fuel tank are obvious.

My dad had a G and I learned to drive on it. It was a stout little tractor and it was hard to beat its line of sight when cultivating.

The Cleber/Oggun tractor is a copy of the Tuff-Bilt, even "built" in the same city, Paint Rock, AL. Tuff-Bilt has a lawsuit against Cleber for using their tractor in their demos and media.

Good tractor for small operations. For those who are concerned with getting a job done, not the style! Also, I imagine there is not much money available for a hefty 4x4 NH or Kubota!
