If you mount the bucket hooks near the reinforcements as shown and use backing plates, you should have no problems. Also buy yourself a good quality chain.

Spud wrench is handy
Extra pins for everything on the 3PT if you use it much.
Ear protection
Spray lithium grease (some parts arent zerks) that you need to lube.
If you are in cold climate:
Diesel additive (I use stanadyne winterizer 1000, lots of good choices)
Battery maintainer
Engine block heater (if really cold).

I would go over your new tractor in detail. Check every fitting, every bolt and nut, especially the wheel lug nuts. Also check the fluid levels including the axle fluid. Hit all the grease zerks to make sure there is grease in all of them.

I also added grease zerk caps to keep dirt out.

Paulden actually. 3 years ago they had 2 ft of snow (just before we moved in) Last year, one big snow..... this year, none at all....I wish it would snow more.....
This has been a very open winter in the southwest. The jet stream has been staying in Canada. But I have lived in N AZ for a couple of decades and now in N NM for a couple of decades. I have seen many snowy and also many open winters. The only constant thing when you live at high elevation is that weather is unpredictable.

Pretty light duty I think....
If you plan on using a loader (or other attachments such as a grapple or forks), get ballast in the tires. Don't put it off. You'll be ditzing around thinking all is well, until it tips unexpectedly, just a little, yah just a little unsettling. Beet juice, washer fluid - probably washer fluid where you're at. Make up some 9link chain hooks to get going attaching chain to the bucket. Permanent hooks are great, but lengths of chain with a hook on each end are easy, and are only a trip to the hardware store. Grease. If there are zerks, they need grease, 8hrs if it's being used. Fuel. Make sure your incoming fuel is clean. Water and other from the pump downtown? - most have some sort of water/particle filter just before getting to the tank. I use a Mr-filter. Fuel treatment. Fuel treat, or power service gets mentioned a lot. Otherwise, run it, think on it, you'll come up with more.

Ditto. Go over EVERYTHING on the tractor before playing with it. Take the manuals to the bathroom & read over everything in detail.
