John Deere 4400, Kubota B6000, Kubota B6100
Hi everyone,

I've just moved to a small holding in England and discovered that I have an interest in tractors - maybe even an obsession?

So far I have a couple of small Kubota's (B6000 and B6100) but I've recently purchased a John Deere 4400. The Kubota's, so far, don't pose too many engineering questions - very straight forward engineering but the John Deere is a slightly different kettle of fish! Partly due to the fact is has a cab so access to anything difficult so any job needs very careful consideration so any help much appreciated. And, hopefully, as I gain experience with my tractor collection, I can share and reciprocate any knowledge I gain.

Thanks in advance,

Richie

When posting, put the problem in the subject title line.. Twice posted that the clutch was thought to be the problem, but neither post had "clutch" in the subject. Hopefully this helps you make future posts.. and please keep us informed how the clutch problem unfolds.
It sounds like clutch plates are disintegrating, but more knowledgeable members will chime in to help.
