New Tire Tread

Saw this Video today, Do not know if it has been posted before. Tread seems really aggressive.

I'd be much more interested if they could correctly spell "Tire" but overall I think its an interesting concept. I don't want to shell out $ to test them but I'd volunteer to be a test mule!

They did spell TYRE correctly.....for where they live.
How do you pronounce tomato?

More of the world spells TYRE this way than the way we spell it (TIRE).. That design looks a bit like the Rice and Cane design with a few sipes and extra hooks. I bet it would work great for snow removal.

Nokia has several tread patterns in ag tire sizes;

Agricultural tyres / Nokian Heavy Tyres

Many of these tread patterns are very interesting, I haven't tried their tractor tires but I have been impressed with their car and light truck snow tires.

That would be a very good tire for my TLB, if it comes in an R-4 configuration (extra ply tire and side walls). I would like to have a tire that will stand up to weight and go in the woods/snow. Needs to be puncture proof/resistant and have good traction in mud and snow.

This video explains the use of the Michelin type of this tire, used for field work and road transport. The air pressure is changed to match the use to maximize the traction and minimize compaction in the field and minimize wear on the highway. Interesting video and since it's a radial, they can run really low pressure in the field and still have a flat footprint.
