Tires New tire option?

I've got 16 in rims...turf tires getting a lot of rot on them. I was looking at an off road mag and wondered if I could just use those off road tires on the tractor. I would get better traction, while not tearing up the lawn, and when I'm in the garden get a lot more grip, right, or am I missing something? Any ideas, or know anybody that did this? Mike

I have put 16" truck tires on several YM1300 and 1401s.

If they fit and you have the correct outside circumference why not??
Check if there is weight rating on the tires.
