Okay, call me a wimp! But after plowing last winter on an open tractor at thirty below zero I decided the activity would be much more enjoyable inside a heated cab, maybe with the company of a dog or two.

So here's my new Curtis plow on the Chevy!

Hope you take good care of Clementine. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
You may need her to pull that pretty new plow out of a snowbank. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Nice looking Pete. Now all you need is some off those good studded snow tires on it and you'll be the envy of all your neighbors. Don't tell my wife but my next truck will have a plow on it too!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We've got studded snows in the garage. Looking at the weather this morning it might be time to mount them! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

You betcha, she's my ace in the hole! With our drainage ditches as deep as they are, I don't dare get too close...so Clementine and her magnificent bucket will be used to push back the weekly accumulation.

Pete:

Cementine just may be sulking because of the new adition. She probably figures that a cab and heater on her chassis would have been perfect.

Did anyone else notice that something was missing from the truck? No, I am not referring to the shot gun rack in the back window, but there is no revolving beacon on the roof. Every experienced plow person knows that you must have a yellow beacon on the roof when you are plowing. In many states, it is the law. In all states, it is common sense.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Is your truck 1/2 or 3/4 ton, auto or standard? Nice looking set-up. I still prefer my CUT with cab and snowblower. With the blower there are no banks to have to push back to make room the next storm. It was my bad luck that when I had a plow truck and was pushing back the banks I always broke something. Good luck and stay warm.

Not if you stay on your own property.

Wait a minute, Junkman! Do you have one to sell? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
