New RTV for 2014?

Just Wanted to See how many Kubota RTV-X Owners are out there. Here is Mine with 2" Wheel Spacers and Coil overs Adjusted to the Max.

Here is a Pic of the front. It really shows on The Wheel 4 more Inches.. 27" tires Next. I really think if the Kubota X-Series have a Aggresive tires they are almost un-stoppable.

They are more $$ than your Typical Ranger or Mule. I Looked at all the competition and nothing is compared to the RTV-X. Quality is King. I also added quick Disconnect Swaybar Linkage to mine because they flex so much more with the Sway bars un-done. It's a Beast Now. Everyone is Complaining about the speed. Turbo Kit will fix all that soon. It's worth every penny.

Thanks. They really are... I was actually thinking about putting a Quick Disconnect Gooseneck in the bed to haul my empty trailers around. Just to park them without using my truck.

If you haven't done at least 15 different personalizations to your RTV, you aren't close to done with it yet:thumbsup:

I'll be following this thread, as I am looking at getting the exact same machine as yours. I'm hoping this year, but I won't be home until July and the wife may have other plans for our limited funds.

As far as the turbo increasing your top speed, not gonna happen. The speed limiting factor on the RTV isn't the motor, but the hydrostatic transmission. You'll get to your 29 mph. top end quicker with a turbo, but that will still be pretty much your limit. Don't get me wrong. The hydro trans is one of the main reasons I want a Kubota over the other brands out there. I don't need a speed demon, but I do need a reliable workhorse, and that's what the RTV delivers.

I Have a Buddy that has a RTV 900 with a SWAG Turbo kit and it gained 10mph From Stock. I would think that it would at least go 35mph. You also get full instructions on adjusting the Injection pump to advance the fuel. I know its not much, but the power is 50% more to the ground. I was thinking the SFS Specialties kit. SWAG doesnt make a kit for the New X-Series.

The people I know that have installed turbos said that the speed was maintained as in High range holding speed under load better than normal aspiration but the top speed wasn't increased. They considered the turbo a worthwhile add but the expense is not insignificant for an already pricy machine. As was said, it'll certainly get there faster and will stay there. I wouldn't mind doing that with mine sometime.

Anyone look at a diesel Gravely. Kohler KDi diesels are Italian and a new line of Diesel engines from a clean sheet. Check that Diesel engine out, very impressive. No particulate filter, and EGR is right where you want it to clean. Someone got real smart here, Kubota take note. Elegant design. HS
