New Holland TC30
Hello,

Just thought I would post some pictures of the lights and power outlet I recently installed on my TC30. We are going to use the tractor for our Cub Scout hay ride this year /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif and it is hard to see over the FEL with the standard lights and I thought a power outlet would be good for spotting some deer. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I have been searching for a while on ideas on how I could mount these lights without drastically modifying my ROPS.
Since my TC30 doesn’t have a folding ROPS I figured why not make use of the existing boltholes and pattern that join the 2 halves of the bar together. I welded a bracket with tabs and bought longer bolts (same grade) and bolted my new bracket fast. Since the bars are split there is a butt joint where they meet. I did drill a 3/8” hole directly on this joint (half on one bar and half on the other). I can’t see how this small hole will affect the integrity of the ROPS and it can be cosmetically fixed if I decide to trade in. Top it off with a small piece of panduit (wire way) painted black to hide the wires and, well you be the judge…
I also included a picture of the fuse panel I installed for the new circuits.
Thanks to all for the ideas!!!

Nice job on your lights. I know I've found uses for the power outlets that I didn't even think of when I installed them. But I have one question. Does she really think your tractor is sexy? Mine just thinks of them as toys that I play with. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Sounds like fun! I have towed our Cub Scouts(Pack-117, Shingle Springs/Latrobe, Golden Empire Council of California www.cub117.org/ in the local Christmas parade for three years now. We have one first place for floats 2 of 3 years. We had pictures of each year on the web, but they have not made it through the latest updates.

Remember, have FUN FUN FUN /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
