TripleR, Now that you say that I do not remember seeing Super UDT at the dealer either. So I may just use the UDT I have on the shelf. The manual says they are compatible, what are everyone's thoughts? Probably does not make any difference at all which to use.

In dealing with three different Kubota dealers here, none have said I "needed" to use SUDT, one only carried NH fluids and I used those. As mentioned previously, my present dealer doesn't even stock it.

I know others report vast differences, but over the years I have used Ambra, Case, Sinclair, UDT, SUDT and some John Deere and couldn't tell any difference. We have different brands of tractors and all seem to say only their fluid is acceptable. I don't get involved in the "oil wars" as they can get pretty rough. I will add, that our winters here are pretty mild and if I lived in the north I may very well use something else. Use whatever makes you comfortable.

My local dealer carried Super-UDT2 so I went with that and got the fluid back up to where it needed to be. Price difference between the two was less than a buck a gallon. Dealer said he has to carry it for one customer so he will always have it. Whether mine came with it or not, that is the way I will be going since it is a synthetic fluid. Thanks for all the help guys!!

Looks good. Great color!:thumbsup: Unless it has changed they ship with SUDT or the new SUDT. While your waiting will be a good time to check all fluids and bolts. I've found an occassional loose bolt over the years.

X 2! This would be one of the best uses of time a person could make on a new purchase. Get a torque wrench and give every nut and bolt you can find a check. Check the weld that you can see too. You might find everything is perfect but anything you do happen to catch at that time could save you tons of time and money someday in the future if it fails.
