New owner question

After reading the manual on my new Max26 XL, page 43, it says after trailering or draining the transmission it is possible that the fluid can leak down on the HST control system. If this happens you might have to take it to the dealer to be checked out. I plan on trailering this tractor a few times this summer. 300 miles round trip. Has this happened to anyone? I would hate to have to take it to a dealer after every trip. BTW I have 20 hrs on this tractor so far and have been very impressed, very strong little machine.

20 hrs. Have you checked your lug,BH and FEL bolts yet? I can't see how trailering the unit could cause the HST to leak down.:confused3:

All I know is what the manual says about the HST system. Yes I have checked all bolts that the manual states. All tight, no leaks either.

Ok,I just spoke to my DSR about that. Its just a warning to make sure that your the tractor dose not lerch back and forth when transported. This can cause the relief valves to open and let oil out of the closed loop system. Basically,set the brake and thigh it down.:thumbsup:
