I just got the new brochure for one from Kubota direct. I'm thinking of the 2100 myself. SO far the best price I've seen is $7350 for the diesel 2100 with the 54" deck. I think I can do a bit better if I shop around a bit.

Did you price a BX 1500 with a 54'' mower ?
Might be about the same money.

I dont think you'll see any of these units for another month or 2.

As for the BX in comparison, the BX is a tractor and can take a lot more implements, but its also bulky and not a regular lawn mower like the GR's. The GR's are nice because they keep a lawn tractor frame/style, yet have AWD and the new 'glide steer' for extremely sharp turning.

I thought about the BX15 since I could do alot more with it with the rear PTO, but its also alot heavier and I think it would be a bear to use to jsut mow the lawn. I would think I would have a tendancy to rut the yard in the wet areas. I also also dont have a tremendous amount of lawn to worry about. I do plow a drive and using the rear for a PTO post hole digger would be nice. Price wish, it is about $1500 or so more overall.

1* its also a lot heavier and I think it would be a bear to use to just mow the lawn.

1*I mow most of my yard with my BX 23 with the FEL and BH attached.
It has AG tires on it.
It's rained all but a couple of days here this month and got above 50 degrees for almost a week so the ground is pretty soft . Went out and dug out tree stumps but the tractor with the ag tires didn't tear up the ground.
A bx 1500 without the FEL and a BH attached should not be a problem then.
2*The bx will handle this well.
3*A whole lot more machine for very little more money.

Very good point. I wanted a post hole digger but several folks have told me thats not a smart move with the BX15. I wont need a FEL just a blade to push snow. A blower if I really want a neat toy.

When I compare it is site to the GR2100, they seems to be pretty close in size from what I can see. I'd like to see them side by side. Maybe the ROPS just makes it look so muck bigger.

I would look like a God mowing the lawn with that beast.
