Kubota L3130
Hi, I'm new here, I have a Kubota L3130 and a restored 730 gas, John Deere.
I am from NW Wi. I like to read the forums but cannot spell so hot so I
mainly just stick to the reading. I'm glad to be here and expect I will learn
alot. f150

The advantage of being older is the knowlege gained over the years.
That's the best way to learn.... and teach.
Please offer input where you think it would be helpful.

Thanks everyone for the nice welcome. We get our weather out of
Minn./St Paul, 4,5,9,11. We got a pretty good dumping of the wet
heavy stuff, I hate it but we do need it just wish it could of been all
rain. Darn weather men it's all their fault :laughing. f150

f150, I join the others in welcoming you. I had a John Deere 730 gasoline tractor that I started to restore when some transmission repairs scared me into selling it. I learned later that is was a simple fix. When I see what some of the restored two cylinder tractors are selling for I wish I had kept the 730.

I nice 730, gas or diesel, with fresh paint and new tires stands in line with the 4010-4020 as the most striking tractors Deere ever produced. Oh sure, the hand clutch had the operator wishing for an extra arm once in a while, but for a classic tractor of the era, the 730 stands at the top.

How about recruiting some young whipper snapper to help you post a picture or two here. Once you spend some more time on TBN you realize we drool over pictures.

Here's our JD 730 gas. It is a striking tractor with all that yellow paint. Without a doubt like you said "a classic".

Thanks for the Welcome everyone. I'm on the south side of 65 but the
north side of 64. I do have a couple pictures of my 730 buried on the
computer some place if I can get time for my wife to find them.
I learned how to drive and do field work on a styled 39 B and then
my dad bought a 52 B then also added a 50 later on (along with a
B Farmall) and then still later on in my young life he traded for a U302
Moline which was a nice tractor I thought also. Always wanted a 30 series
and many-many years later I finally got me one. I will do my best to locate
the pictures. Thanks again. f150
