Are you exactly in the Neutral position (High/Neutral/Low)? Sometimes, on my JD 4105, it will look and 'feel' as if it's in the correct position but it's not.

Are you talking about the relay on the firewall/fuel tank clicking, or the solenoid on the starter motor clicking? Is it a 'single click', or multiple, very fast clicks (almost a buzzing)?
