There are some engineers on here, but I am not one of them. It would be helpful to know your intended usage and acreage and possibly general location..

Well, that's like walking into a dealership (assuming you have picked a brand) and saying 'I want a truck!'. JK, welcome to TBN! I am in your position, and there is a lot to figure out, these guys are really helpful though...

Actually, I think there are more options and choices than a pickup, but the prices are about the same...ugh...

Just buy a Bobcat and get it over with :D... Seriously as others said... need to know what are your plans for use because you will also need to buy implements and it will accumulate overtime .

Ok, here goes my requirements: I got about 1.5 acres sloping from house about 300' to lake. I need to level out ruts left over from septic install 10 years ago, grade as much as 2-4' for a ride on model rr of about 450' track, grade a better golf cart driveway to lake, spread topsoil at lake and build some riprap of 100'. also put in a small pond if I have room left and do some landscaping. I think I need a rear grading blade, a box blade. What else? Looking at a Kioti ck20. The dealer is close also.

what got me to this site was an article about 2006 cubcadet Lt1042 having clutch related problems, either switch related or just electrical breakdown.
if someone out there knows the article ,let me know more about the problem, is it a recall item?? keith

Rob, welcome to the forum:)

I think the Kioti is a nice little tractor but some of these jobs are going to be hard to do with it. You might be better off to buy a tractor with the mowing and maintaining in mind. Might be better to rent a larger landscape loader to handle the larger tasks for a few days.
