Hi there all!
Hit with about 2 feet of snow here, broke both shear pins for the first time, looked at some comments here and felt confident to go replace them and to order proper backups. Thanks!

Welcome to TBN from Eastern Washington state.

Welcome fellow RI'er.

Sheer pins are a must have for doing any snow blower work. I have yet to snap one on anything other than my own stupidity. We got a dusting about 2 weeks back, was clearing in low range and decided that I could go faster. Pop in the clutch, switch over to High range, and drop the clutch (HST trans doesn't move on release unless the HST pedals are manipulated). Long story short, that drop of the clutch was enough to snap my first pin. Second one I snapped the same way. :duh:

I posted this in another forum, but since we're on topic.....
