Homeowner with 2.5 acres saving to buy a replacement for a Cub Cadet Model 1050. By the way the cub cadet tractor has over 300 trouble free hours. Basic maintenance (oil change, clean filters, and a new battery). I do not like the cut of the 50 inch three blade deck. Rarely cuts even and leaves strips. Very particular to grass length and moisture. Considering a zero-turn. May keep cub cadet for snow removal; blade or thrower? Look forward to learning and sharing information. Have a great day..

My Craftsman riding mower was also cutting uneven last year. The reason was that one of the Mandrels was cracked and uneven. I also made sure that ALL the tires were equal in pressure.BTW, welcome aboard.
