Tractor
John Deere 855 , John Deere 300
Hi, I'm Tim from Ogden , I've been a Lurker for a while and have enjoyed your Forum. It has been a wealth of information for setting up my tractors . I own a 1997 John Deere 855 MFWD , with 70A Loader , soft side cab ,500 LB. ballast box , Loaded tires , Anbo bucket mount site plow. I also own a 1977 John Deere 300 Garden tractor with 48" deck , 49 Blower, 54 4 way blade , sleeve hitch with ballast tray,Brinley box scraper, 75 lb wheel weights and JD factory soft side cab. I have used them both at my self storage business for lot maintenance and snow removal , since the purchase of the 855 , My 300 has been retired to lawn and snow duty at the house. Your forum is Great, lots of good information! .....Tim

Welcome from Louisiana. Oh, and could you send us a little of that snow down here sometime around maybe July or August?

We have been getting the hundred degree weather around here the last 3-4 years , usually July- august. I feel sick saying it, but I'll take the 100. May be send a few inches your way ! However it has provided lots of seat time, that's OK :dance1:

Yes it did, I got home around 5:30 , Got more 855 seat time, widened piles out , pushed them into the ditches a little further. I'm snowed out, (tired of it) but the 855 makes it a little easier , I turn on the Golfcart heater and go at it...Tim

Yeah my 300 has had a good work out just snow blowing at the house, I used to finish the house up then run it down to the buildings and clear down there , that last storm last march got me motivated to go to a compact tractor for the buildings , kind of glad I did it now.
