New LS Sub-Compact

Looks nice! If it had come out this time last year, I'd be taking a very hard look at it as I have an L.S. dealer whom I like just two miles from my house. (They're my source for chainsaws and related supplies.) I've got 5 acres with a lot of trails and narrow sections where the Kubota BX was a better fit, so that's what I went with, even though that dealer is 40 miles away. But the extra lift capacity + position control of this new L.S. would definitely be appreciated. Only thing I'd really like to see is a narrower mower deck--60" is just too wide for some of the maneuvering I have to do.

I'm assuming that's with the loader. They typically don't sell anything other than small riding lawn mowers without a loader.

I just emailed him back to confirm that.

While you are emailing...:) Ask him if that front bucket is SSQA. It looked like it to me in the photo. If so is it standard or an option?

It is SSQA, saw it in the video.

That alone would be a good reason to select one of these, and with position control on the other end being another. Kubota is going to have to step up.

Not to mention that silly single hydro pedal Kubota seems wedded to.

Isn't marketing grand!

I also got the "free" loader with my 3135. I think you can either get the free loader or 0% financing.

Yep, that's what I was told, too.

Looks like their new SCUTs are continuing their model of more standard features at a lower price. Good for them.

I am curious about the Yanmar engine, though, considering it seems they have been moving towards their own engines in other lines.

I would like to have confirmation on this. The LS website and brochure don't say much about the FEL attachment. It says it uses the LL1100 though. The FEL page on the LS site, that includes the LL1100, at the top says, "Quick-attach, skid steer compatible front end loaders that come standard with grill guards and have a higher lift capacity than the competition." The dealer said that it was not, but there wasn't one on the sales floor. I was wondering if he was mistaken because it is a newer model.

I thought it did but maybe not unless its an option. Here are a couple of pics from my dealer, he had 2.

Thank you for those pictures. Indeed that does not match what is shown in the video. They both say LL1100 on the side. Seems the dealer was correct.

(Newbie!) Went and talked to our local dealer here today and I think we're going to hop on the MT125, we were quoted out $14300 loader and deck mower, $995 5' brushcutter and $475 for a 4' boxblade. Which puts us in line with the BX2380 with no rear attachments. Plus the owner was very pleasurable to work with, much better sales experience than previous stops.

I don't think we're going to get the hoe, but were quoted $3950 for it, if purchased with the tractor.

I am also a newbie. Your quoted price on the tractor + loader + mower is just a bit more than what I was quoted locally. Report back how it goes!

Well I was wrong. I was quoted $14500 for tractor + loader + mower. 17650 for that plus backhoe and bucket.

Sounds like we are close price wise. I think I'm going to call and commit this week. I'm leaning toward the hoe after all...
