I searched thru a few pages but didn't find a question close to what I'm doing so will ask for advise. I have a 1974 2000 Ford, gas engine, with a Hawkeye FEL. A hose burst on the FEL and since they were pretty old I replaced them all. Now do I need to leave the couplings loose at the cylinder end and work the lever slightly for each function to bleed? Also I have a Ford manual but it doesn't tell me where to drain the hydraulic fluid or where to add, thought I would renew it since I purchased it last spring and don't know when it was done previously. Thanks for any and all advise. James

No need, just cycle through all the loader motions completely a couple of times and recheck your hydraulic level. You'll be good to go

Joe, Thanks greatly. Will be in the Dahlonega area in a couple of weeks to relax and of course shop with SWMBO. James
