New Horse

Well, she got a new horse, just about a year after we lost her quarterhorse at the age of 29. This guy is 4 and is a big guy.

She's 5'10". He's really big. It was a big deal to get her to take a look at this one. After losing the old gal last year, the emotional bond is still there. She had the quarterhorse 17 years. I lobbied hard for her to look at this one.

A good looking big boy. He must be a draft mix of some sort as he's got long hair above all hooves.

He's a registered Clydesdale.
We stopped to see him last night. The stall door was left open, he just walked right through the chain, snapping the latch. He got some power. Luckily he fairly well behaved.

Well, now you can sell your tractor...won't need it with that big critter.

Well here is our big boy. Not quite a Clyesdale but pretty close 1800 lbs.

You can fertilize some collards with that boy. That is a nice looking stable. Did you do the stall fronts yourself? We are in the early stages of a complete makeover for our stables.
