Hi all - I have a New Holland TC30 (1999, maybe 2000 or 2001). Lately it has been acting like it thinks I am not in the operator's seat when trying to start. It will start fine, and sit there and run all day as long as the parking brake is set and the gear shift is in neutral (it is a hydrostatic). However, as soon as I release the brake or shift it into gear, it shuts down, as if I am not in the seat. I disconnected the safety switch that is under the seat and put a jumper wire across the connectors coming from the wiring harness, but this did not help. Is there another switch or relay somewhere down the line that I should be looking at? Is there any way to bypass the whole darn seat safety switch circuit? By the way, sometimes it will fire right up and run fine, which is doubly puzzling. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.
