New Holland 4.75 lost reverse need help

2018 New Holland Powerstar 4.75 was operating fine then in 2nd range 4th gear reverse started getting sludgey. It acted like it wanted to go but barely moved. More throttle moved a bit more. Changed filters and fluid. Was better a day or two then started doing it again.. All forward gears OK. Now reverse in all gears and ranges affected.. What is causing it?

Which tranny?

Electric power shuttle issues? Bad switch, bad circuit, bad solenoid,...

WSM needed to help you diagnose. I had an EHSS and experienced issues with the fwd/rev switch on the column shifter

If hyd type reverser I suggest to check for a test port & check pressure.

We'll add that to the list to check on my uncle's incoming Holland Powerstar 4.75 project. The reverse doesn't engage intermittently so we'll see. Got to finish the installation of the suspension and shocks from 4Wheelonline onto the Wrangler before we can take her in.

I doubt that you will get an answer as this member joined to ask this question, asked the same in another thread and hasn't been back in a year and a half. You might shoot a message to Barry above. He is still active and apparently dealt with the same problem.
