I found this group just this week.Lots of knowledge & good info here. It's good to know that I'm not only old man that gets ideas on the way to the bathroom at 3am.Anyhow,I thought you guys might like to see the quiktach I built for my old 1835 case. This model didn't come with it & I have buddies with attachments so you know what had to happen.Anyhow I think I got the pics loaded so you can check it out. I have built some attachments for it & can post more pics if you want. You guys are entertaining & infomative.Ihope I can add my 2 cents once in awhile

From the looks of what you can build, I can tell you'll fit right in.

Nice work!!! Just what I've been thinking about doing. Most of the materials you used I have laying around in my shop. Thanks for the pics. Welcome to TBN!!!

That looks great. I used to have a Case 1835 with the case 188D. It didn't have any QD. I made some forks for it and had to take out the bolts that held the pins in then remove the pins and change to the forks or bucket, so I know how much of an improvement you have made to it. Great idea, so keep us posted on others. Later, Nat

Welcome to the group. Are you in the lawncare business (noticed all the gas cans in your garage)? Nice job on the implements. Might fill out your profile to let us all know a little more about you/your toys.

Welcome to TBN, and Great Posts! The Bobtatch is the best thing since the Caqt I quick hitch specification. Bobtatch is nice because there is no precicion required. Six strips of steel and an implement is converted. All FELs should come with Bobtatch. and now Olmike has shown us how everone can make Bobtatch. Thanks!

I made a wooden jig sized exactly like the loader side of the Bobtatch hitch system. with angled woodedn corner blocks to match the hitch angles. To convert an attachment I clamp the jig to the implement, clamp the new steel to the jig, and start welding. The last step is to flame cut the square cutouts.

Great post. Any good quick hitch makes hook-up faster and more important, safer. This means more seat time and also we are willing to do tractor work that otherwise we might delay because of the hookup hassle. I have never seen a homemade bobtatch (the loader side of the hitch).

One comment for all: Make the name of the post descriptive of the project or post.

JRP, Thanks for the kind words. This was A scary project to start.I knew once I made the first cut I was screwed if I couldn't make it work.I may change the big wingnuts to levers someday ,but it works good as is.
